Teddy Bear Coat

I almost dont know where to start because I feel like there’s so much going on here. Lol. Ok, so lets starts with the obvious, this warm and cozy coat. I literally feel like I’m wrapped in a huge teddy bear everytime I wear this coat :-). I swear I’ll find any reason to wear it. To do laundry, to go to the corner store, to hang with friends, just for any reason. Thats the beauty of New York, is that it gets so cold here that no one is worried about what kind of coat you have on because we’re all too busy trying to stay warm. If I did this down south (Atlanta, the Carolinas) I know I’d get a million stares like, what? why?. But in New York, it doesnt matter. Yes we do laundry and go to corner stores in fur coats… because its COLD in the winter, and thats what coats are for. No matter how “dressy” they are.

I got this coat last season from Romwe after hunting for it like a dog. I tend to do that, hunt for items like its my life’s mission and then I feel a high once I”ve found it. This coat was one of those moments. It was all worth it, because now they’re back in season and a tad harder to find. But don’t worry, your “Style Bounty Hunter” Style Nina will be on the case for you ;-). I’ll do an entire post dedicated to some cute finds I come across. Oh and wait till I tell you about (and do a video) on the SOLD OUT everywhere Zara coat I just hunted down and successfuly retreived! 😉

Then, lets talk about the shoes. Sandals? why Sandals, some may ask. Because I’ve always found it fabulous and a little bold when I see a sandal being pulled off with a coat. And when its the dead of winter and frigid outside it definitely cant be done then, so what better time to pull it off than the fall. Werk boos werk. xx
