For some reason, I wasn’t ALL in for black Friday like in previous years. I know this is insane to say, as a blogger, but just the madness of it all is a turn off. I will however online shop my butt off. Sitting in the comfort of my own home with a cup of tea and just click, click, clicking away. That’s the only way for me. All of our favorite stores are having sales like nobody’s business and now is the time to get those big ticket items we’ve been coveting. For me, its another pair of Staurt Weitzman’s, preferably in Bordeaux or the lowlands. I also wanted to upgrade my equipment. Funny, my friend was like “why?, you don’t even shoot like that now” *shock face*, but true though. I can take it because I know its honest, and its the complete truth. I think for me, most of the problem has been building a team. Great bloggers have a team, a photog, editor, something or SOMEONE behind them. One just simply cannot do it alone. And I’m the perfect example of that. You just can’t. So that’s what I’m working on now. Finding some consistent help. That’s really where, I’ve been. Looking for help. *insert Adele’s face in the video for ‘Hello’*
Anyway, I got off topic just a little there, lol. I’ve been eyeballing that Givenchy Antigona bag for THE longest and its definitely on my wishlist. The wireless speaker by Logitech because one of my friends has one that she bought on Craigslist a few years ago and to this day we BUMP that thing haaaaaaard! She said she got it for $100 even though it retails for $200. But guess who has it on sale for half off right now? Best buy! Their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are EVERYTHING. I got my iMac last year from them for $899 and have been IN LOVE with it ever since. I have yet to find it cheaper anywhere else, as I’d been looking for relatives who wanted to snag one for their homes. To this day, best buy has had the lowest price and ONLY for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
A black faux fur coat is the last fall/winter item I needed to complete my winter wardrobe. This one is only $100 and 30% off right now when you use the code: CYBER30 on their site. I saw it on asos and its already sold out, so this is the LAST place to actually get my hands on one. Side note, look at the coat on ASOS and then look at it here, its a WONDER what good lighting can do! Not to fear though, I’ve done the research for us both and it’s the EXACT same coat! What are you trying to scoop up? Let me be nosey 😉 Lol. xx
Soooooo I’m all the way into the 70s vibe and boho style for this summer. I already LOVED gladiators last year AND the year before, a la my post in 2013!!!!! I be on it waaaaay before mainstream ;-p
But anyway, also seen via Georgine FW2015 at this past fashion week, the sexy 60/70’s looks are in, in, and innnnnn! So get your fix NOW. JC, delivers as usual with these amazing gladiators that I juuuuust snagged because I couldn’t wait, lol. Cold or not right now, it’ll warm up in a few weeks and I’ll be readyyyyy!
So check out my small curation of some great essentials from nasty gal 😉
The first dress… yes, that lace one. Wait til you click on it and look at the addt’l pics of that dress, and just wait until you see the back!!!!!! Yaaaassssssssss *hands up in the air*. Can we say vacay with the boo and he won’t be able to keep his hands off of you in that dress?! Cant even wait. Then number 2, this red full skater skirt from ASOS is just as sweet as it is effortless. Love. And for only $39? *adds to basket*. Depending on where you are and what the weather is like in feb, boots or ankle straps, yes please!. Number 3, there’s nothing like a sleek, fitted, long sleeved LBD. Always a sexy, sophisticated and easy option. With a pair of sexy sandals (or a closed toe pointy ankle strap shoe), sleek hair and a red lip, we’re talking Vday date night perfection. Number 4, the waterfall or draped front jacket isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and for $49, I’ll take this one in charcoal with an all black ensemble and nude heels any day of the week. Number 5, I just love delicate rings and chains that attach them to bracelets 🙂 and this one is only $6!!!. The swatch watch I had when I first moved to NY and lost it in the move ;-( but I think I’m going to get it agin. I just love the mix or clear hardware, gold and the faux diamonds on the hours. Its still classically cute. 7, I’m still in love with that look Rihanna used to do with the layered necklaces, so this one is right up that alley.
All these shoes, 8-11 are a few musts I’m eye balling for the upcoming season. First of all, mules. If you don’t have a pair yet you’re already a season late but they’re going to be everywhere and not just on your favorite bloggers. So if you love the trend, go ahead and get your hands on a cute pair now. Don’t wait like last year with the birkenstocks. They sold out in March all over New York and online. Mind you it doesn’t warm up here until late May. The Louboutins I loved for the laser cut lace look, and its a great transitional piece from winter to spring. They’re also going to sell out because every girl on the planet doesn’t already have it, lol. The lace up heels in black and cobalt blue I saw at Aldo in Spetember during fashion Week and I almost bought them (they were full priced at $100) now they’re on sale for the loooooooooow looooooow. Please know, TRUST and believe me when I tell you that as I was posting this I bought them in cobalt. Yes Lord, YES. Next up are the black and the nude pumps. They are versions of my Zara ones that a few of you have asked me about. You know, the blush ones I wear in a lot of blog pics. Well these are suede and I want them in black. A black suede pump is going to be IT this season. The suede “So Kate” by Christian Louboutin sold out faster than a Rihanna collection at MAC lol. So snag yours for the low low here now honeys. The black ankle straps are the Stuart Weitzman’s I’ve been lusting over for more than a year and hope to get this summer.
Lastly, the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pomade has literally changed my life, I get stopped and asked constant questions about my brows now, yes Anastasia, yessssss. And her contour kit I haven’t tried but I am planning on trying it out.
No but these Isabel Marants though? are legit 40% off!!!!!! *squeals* I am in no position to be buying anything else but I might have to scoop these!!! And then all these cute accessories from Baublebar? Yass tho yasss. I’ve always loved ear-cuffs so these are right up my alley. The drop necklace? Yes please. These are always so expensive so this is a great lesser expensive option. And then how can I forget ripped jeans? I’m all about them! So easy to pair with a chunky sweater and some ankle boots, #done. Then, this self cleaning garden fish tank? you mean I don’t have to clean it AND I can have a cute pretty colored fish? Yessssss!!! lolol. Lastly, all of these electronics, dig in!!!!
So for cyber monday, a lot our fave stores like Asos, Nasty Gal, Zara and even our secret fave NY boutique Necessary Clothing will probably have the same sales as before if not better, so let me gear you up with my best and fave picks ahead of time. This way you can pre-game yourself for when the clock strikes midnight and all through out the day. So first let me start with the things I’m coveting right now. Tech stuff. For those of you that are creators in any kind of way, artists, aspiring photogs, aspiring bloggers/youtubers, this may be helpful to you. First, an iMac. If you edit a lot you will want AND need this. A part of the reason I’m never motivated when its time to edit is because doing it on a laptop gets annoying with a tiny track pad and after a while with a wireless mouse. So to complete my home office, an iMac was only the next sensible move and necessary investment into my brand as a blogger and youtuber. I found Best Buy to be the ONLY retailer that had deals/discounts on them for Black Friday ($200 off!), so Cyber Monday should be good too!
Then, I bought the black version of that camel coat from Asos. I also wanted to get it in grey too but sis said I was OD-ing, so chill. Its actually not too late, I may still scoop it anyway *covers eyes*. One can never have too many coats living in New York. I bought some black ripped jeans, which I’ve been dying to get for ages. Then from Zara I bought some leopard and leather shoes and then these lace up ankle boots as well (like I needed more of those, smh). So go for it friends!!! Have at these picks and do come back here to tell what deals you found and if these picks helped you in any way!…. Now, back to MY shopping! xoxox
